1:1 coaching

For us to push past personal boundaries we must first confront and evolve through often uncomfortable habitual behaviours and thoughts. However with an open-mind and a clear goal in sight you will not regret the first steps you take. This journey is collaborative. We will work together through bespoke 1:1 sessions focussing not just on improving your dancing and furthering your knowledge of this wonderful art form but on emotional wellbeing, using mindfulness tips to enhance performance and concentration, overall mental and physical health, musicality and expression.

Ballet

I believe that there really is no better way to learn and consistently improve. Private ballet classes designed to your needs and personal goals means we can map out your journey, track your progress and enjoy this really fulfilling experience over an extended period of time. Alternatively, just a handful of private classes are great for preparing you to enter group classes especially if you’re new to ballet. These classes are perfect for those who wish for a more tailor-made service. Classes generally last 60mins but can be adapted to suit you. Whatever stage you’re at and no matter your life experience to date I am here to help you actualise your goals.

1:1 ballet coaching can include any of the following:

  • classical ballet training which ranges from technique, musicality and artistry

  • mobility and flexibility coaching

  • body conditioning or other training modalities which I believe will strengthen your technique

  • meditation and breath coaching to enhance performance, improve concentration and mindset

  • mentoring for confidence and mental clarity

  • face to face in a studio in Birmingham or London or online via Zoom, Skype or FaceTime

Please note that 1:1 classes are for adults only.

Breathwork and Meditation

Maybe dancing isn’t quite in your repertoire right now and instead you’d like to focus on improving your mindset, overcoming stress and anxiety and elevating your health and wellbeing. Learning effective strategies and breathing techniques can help us become aware of our thoughts, remove judgment, quieten the ego and improve inner dialogues, all of which are powerful assets as we navigate this ever busy, demanding world. Using the tips I learned from sports psychologists throughout my career and as a qualified Breathwork Facilitator with YogaLap, I can assist you in discovering the magic of breath science and provide you with the tools to help take control of and enhance your life.
